A Guide to Early Aggression in Tower Rush
Why We Rush
Executing a flawless early game rush is a thrilling and highly effective strategy. You are sacrificing your own economic future for a massive, temporary spike in military power. Many players panic when they see an army in their base at the three-minute mark. Therefore, you must learn to hide your intentions and strike with blinding speed. By mastering these aggressive techniques, you will climb the ranks with lightning-fast victories.
Timing is Everything
You must practice your opening sequence until you can do it blindfolded. Every piece of gold spent on a worker is gold not spent on an attacking soldier. This drastically reduces the travel time for your reinforcements to reach the frontline. Do not wait for a massive army before you attack; strike as soon as you have a small force. You cannot afford to waste time manually moving new units across the map.
Information denial is half the battle when executing a cheese strategy. Economic harassment is the primary goal if outright destruction is impossible. If they managed to finish a cannon, attacking it directly with cheap infantry is suicidal. Clever hiding spots separate decent rushers from grandmaster cheese players. If the rush completely fails and your army is wiped, type 'GG' and move on. Variations of the Rush
It is mechanically simple but highly effective against greedy, economy-focused players. Alternatively, the 'Tech Rush' focuses on getting a single, powerful tier-two unit very early. The infamous 'Tower Rush' involves sending workers to the enemy base to build offensive structures. Finally, the 'Hero Harass' uses a highly mobile champion to inflict early economic damage.

Even if you prefer macro games, understanding the rush helps you defend against it. Play to win, use every tool available, and claim your ladder points proudly. Watching the replay from their perspective is highly entertaining and educational. The threat of a rush is often just as powerful as the rush itself. Hit them hard, hit them fast, and watch their defensive lines crumble to dust.</p
